Knowledge Representation System on Models

and Its Topological Properties

Abstract:

Presently there are many researches about algebraic structure and topo-logical structure of knowledge representation systems based on databases. In this paper a concept of formalized multiple database based on Descartes product is presented and used to obtain a representation system of model, furthermore the corresponding topolog-ical properties is discussed. Filter is also used to obtain topological structure on model universe, model set and model ultra-product so that a topological method is derived to obtain Pawlak approximate operators.

 

Research of Component Reference Semantics using

Method of Dynamical Systems

Abstract:

In this paper, topological space structure of component sets is proposed on the basis of component and reference formalization, consequently the method based on topological dynamical systems is used to study formal semantics, which is about parallel recursive reference of components. Furthermore the existence of denotational objects is transformed into the existence of attractors and functional fixed points of a dynamical system. This method is the development of the fixed point theory on lattice in formal semantics, it can be applied to the design basis of component reference systems.

Two-Person Zero-Sum Matrix Games with Grey Payoffs

Abstract:  

A special two-person zero-sum matrix game in which some payoffs are not definite real numbers but rational grey numbers is posed. Its mathematical model, corresponding definitions and theorems are given. Finally, some solutions are proposed.

 

Improved Genetic Algorithm for Vehicle Routing Problem

with Time Windows

Abstract:

This paper proposes a new genetic algorithm for Vehicle Routing Problem with Time Windows. The algorithm applies the intuitive integer string representation, a new selection method with tournament of three copies, and an improved heuristic crossover operator. The experiments show it can achieve good results.

 

The Fuzzy Systems Method of Classification

and Estimation of Volcanic Reservoirs

Abstract:

Based on the synthetical features of the fracture-typed volcanic reservoirs, the author in this article takes effective permeability (Qo), production index (Jo), stratigraphic factor (Kh), block porosity (Φ) and block permeability (Kb) as five estimation index and founds five types subordinate function for volcanic reservoirs respectively, which are used to make a comprehensive estimation of the static and dynamic data about forty-six well layers. It turns out that the volcanic reservoirs of Zhunger Basin are the fracture typed reservoirs, of which are mainly the compound types.

In this paper, the convergence theorems for fuzzy McShane integrals of fuzzy-valued functions are given. First, we give the equi-integrable convergence theorem. As corollaries of the equi-integrable convergence theorem, we give the uniformly convergent theorem for McShane integrals of fuzzy-valued functions. In addition, by means of Egorov’s Theorem, we obtain the dominated convergence theorem for McShane integrals of fuzzy-valued functions. As corollaries of the dominated convergence theorem, we give the fuzzy dominated convergence theorem and the monotone convergence theorem for McShane integrals of fuzzy-valued functions.

In this paper, an optimal treatment planning is provided for the Leksell Gamma Unit with 201 60Co sources distributed in 201 collimator channels. By analyzing the problem in detail, on the basis of some original optimization techniques, a modified Steepest Descent Method and Constraint Simulated Annealing Method are used to propose an objective function and optimal treatment plan. Then, assume a brain tumor case to examine the superior and validation of our treatment planning. By computer simulation, isodose curve can be plotted with Matlab language. The results show that the accuracy and effectiveness of our model and algorithm.

We propose one system of differential equations to find a Kuhn-Tucker point of a nonlinear programming problem with both equality and inequality constraints. It is proven that the Kuhn-Tucker point of the nonlinear programming problem is an asymptotically stable equilibrium point of the proposed differential system. For convenience of calculation, we present another system of differential equation. An iterate algorithm is constructed to find an equilibrium point of the latter differential system, the local superlinear convergence rate of this algorithm is demonstrated.

When the classical method is applied to solving the dual of a convex programming problem, an approximate solution is obtained by employing any parallel algorithms to this minimization problem, which can approach any accuracy of the optimal solution.  It is illustrated that value of the dual variable, generated by the modified  method, converges to the optimal solution to the dual problem if the sequence of accuracies are properly chosen, and the generated sequence also converges to the optimal solution to the original convex programming problem.

Abstract:

Training a multiplayer perceptron by an error backpropagation algorithm is slow and lost in local minima and paralysis. The paper proposes a new asynchronous iterative algorithm which is much faster than error backpropagation. In addition, we set up a new and  give  relaxation factor’s  deterministic method. Simulation results show that asynchronous iterative algorithm is  much faster than BP algorithm .So, asynchronous iterative algorithm with changeable factor is but good speed and also avoids local minima and paralysis.

Abstract:

The paper gave a new ranking method of fuzzy complementary judgement matrix, made comparison analysis between this method and the raking method given in[10] , and found the relation of them. It pointed out that the ranking method given in this paper is more reasonable than the one given in [10].

The local multiple regression fuzzyLMRFmodel based on Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy logical system and its application in traffic forecasting is proposed in this paper. Besides its prediction accuracy is testified and the model is proved much better than conventional forecasting methods. According to the regional traffic system, the model perfectly states the complex non-linear relation of the traffic and the local social economy. The model also efficiently deals with the system lack of enough data.

Abstract:

A new methodology for integrated design of a neural-fuzzy system by modeling and controller is proposed in this paper. This design procedure provides a real-time system identification scheme using less fuzzy rules than the other existing methods due to a new sliding-mode learning mechanism embedded into the identified model, which has robust stability not only for trajectory tracking control and identified system. The typical pendulum system is simulated and demonstrated to show convincing stabilization and tracking performance of the proposed fuzzy system.

Abstract:

A minimax method for nonsmooth global optimization problem is presented, in which the objective functions are piecewise smooth .We transform this problem to differentiable optimization problem with the idea of the maximum-entropy function, and we also prove relevant properties. At last ,we design an algorithm for this class problem. The numerical results are reported and show the efficiency of our approach.

The inner mechanisms that were put forward solely by the author Yang Bingru are presented in the paper: double-bases cooperating mechanism, double-basis fusion mechanism and information increasing mechanism. Then expansible structural models of KD (Knowledge Discovery) are described: KDD*, KDK*, KD (D&K) and DFSSM, etc. And some innovative methods are introduced such as a new method of knowledge representation, a mining algorithm and auto-evaluation method. The structure analysis of a Multi-input Typical Fuzzy Controller(MITFC) is addressed in this paper. The MITFC has r (arbitrary) input variables which use unequally spaced triangular membership functions, employ linear control rules, Sum-Product inference method and center of gravity defuzzification algorithm. The authors give the explicit expression of MITFC and validate the MITFC is the sum of a global control-rules dependent nonlinear controller and a local nonlinear controller locally tuning control action of the global controller.

Two definitions of Qualitative Mapping(QM) and Conversion degree function(CDF) are presented in this paper. It is shown that, under the action of some special Conversion degree functions, its qualitative criterion will be turned into a fuzzy qualitative criterion. A fuzzy artificial neuron can be induced by a M-dimension Weight Conversion degree function (MWCDF) hi(x), and two classifying algorithms based on MWDF for two nonlinear patterns, XOR and two spirals, are given respectively.

In this paper, by employed initial fuzzy model as an estimate of the real model, an optimal adaptive fuzzy control design method for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems with external disturbances is proposed to achieve H1 tracking perfor-mance.Our result indicates that a small attenuation level does not lead to a large control signal. In addition, the proposed method insures optimal parameters with respect to the tracking errors and control effort. An example is given to illustrate the design procedure and efficient.

Abstract:

In terms of the modular Fuzzy neural network based upon Fuzzy C mean (FCM) cluster and single-layer neural net in combination, study is undertaken of the establishment of a model for predicting short-term climate change. Evidence suggests that the modular type model has advantages of a single-layer structure, no hidden layer and steady model parameters because of its putting together the theories and methods of Fuzzy mathematic and neural network for self-adaptive learning, association and Fuzzy information processing. The case study shows that the prognostic ability of the developed model is superior to that of a common scheme and is thus a new method for short-range climate prediction.

Abstract:

In this paper, a multi-objective model for designing 3D trajectory of horizontal wells is developed in a fuzzy environment. The results obtained from both FNLP and FAGP methods are presented with different weights of the fuzzy objectives. A sensitivity analysis on fuzzy objectives is presented with different tolerances on the length of the trajectory and the error of entry target point. Numerical results illustrate the accuracy and efficiency of the fuzzy model.

The guaranteed cost control problem via memory less state feedback controllers is studied in this paper for a class of fuzzy dynamic time-delay systems with norm-bounded time-varying parametric uncertainty and a given quadratic cost function. Sufficient conditions for the existence of guaranteed fuzzy controllers are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Furthermore, a convex optimization problem with LMI constraints is formulated to design the optimal guaranteed cost controller, which minimizes the guaranteed cost of the closed-loop uncertain system.

In this paper, we first suggest some rules which is considered when we give a similarity measure for measuring the degree of similarity between elements and between vague sets. Abstract:

In this paper two types of the quasi-formal deductive system, L*G-R and L*G, are built according to abnegating the first axiom L1) or the third axiom L3) on the classical formal logic system respectively. Based on L*G-R or L*G, both the deduction theorem and the hypothetical syllogism (HS) rule are investigated. We have proved that neither the deduction theorem nor the hypothetical syllogism (HS) rule had held on L*G-R but a deduction theorem and an HS rule are obtained in a weak sense. We also prove that the deduction theorem and the hypothetical syllogism (HS) rule both hold on L*G.

In this thesis, a new method based on FUZZY Mathematics is used to cognize the enterprise injury. After designing a multi-layer comprehensive judging model, the thesis uses the FUZZY Mathematics to find out the membership of each index, and evaluates the corresponding percentage of each index. The state space model could comprehensively judge the multi time at the same time. At last the thesis compares the result of the comprehensive judgment. In this way the thesis can judge whether there is injury of the enterprise in the dumping.  

 

Analysis of Dynamic Two-Stage Transfer Pricing for Multi-Product Firm

Abstract: 

This paper analyzes the two-stage transfer pricing strategy in multi-product divisional firms. Concluding that optimal transfer pricing strategy must be changed with the variation of the final products. When final products are complement, transfer price should less than marginal cost of intermediate goods. When final products are independent, transfer price should be equal to marginal cost of intermediate goods. When final products are substitutable, transfer price should more than marginal cost of intermediate goods, and the transfer price should be increased, with the increasing of substitutability. 

 

Supply Chain Volume Flexibility Decision Model Under Utility

Abstract:

The optimal decision on supply chain (SC) volume flexibility is studied under demand uncertainty in this paper. Considering minimizing the expected total cost of SC subject to volume flexibility, the SC volume flexibility decision model under demand uncertainty is established. Through optimal analysis, the definition of the Efficient Frontiers of SC Volume Flexibility is given. Through constructing indifference curve, i.e. utility function, maximizing the utility of decision-maker, the optimal solution to the volume decision model is obtained. Finally, an example is given to illustrate the model.

 

Benchmark-Adjusted Portfolios Choice

Abstract:

The literatures that study portfolio choice with benchmark portfolio mostly assume that a decision maker is an investment manager, or that an investor can directly control his investment manager(s). The methods in these literatures are impracticable for petty investors. This paper studies how a petty investor indirectly controls his investment manager(s) by choosing the proportions invested in the manager’s portfolio, the benchmark portfolio, and the riskless asset. On the basis of Muralidhar’s2001models, we put forward a benchmark-adjusted portfolio choice model.

Abstract:

Following the classical assumptions of Cournot model, this paper first studies the dynamic asymptotical equilibrium of a two-firm Cournot model and the characteristics of dynamic output adjusting path. Further, we build a general dynamic n-firm Cournot model, prove the existence of the dynamic asymptotical equilibrium of the general dynamic model, and present a formula to calculate the equilibrium.

 

Real-time Performance Analysis of Protocol Converter

Abstract:

In this paper the real-time performance of protocol converter adopting buffer queue with changeable bottom between MODBUS/TCP industrial Ethernet and DeviceNet fieldbus is analyzed by computer principle and protocol theory. Furthermore a test system is constructed to testify the analytical result. At last a conclusion is drew that the protocol converter adopting buffer queue with changeable bottom shows better real-time performance than that adopting FIFO queue.

Pole assignment of the second order singular distributed parameter control systems was discussed via the functional analysis and operator theory in Hilbert space. The solutions of the problem and the constructive expression of the solutions are given by the generalized inverse one of bounded linear operator. At last an illustrate example is given. This research is theoretically important for studying the stabilization and asymptotic stability of the second order singular distributed parameter systems.

Matlab can conveniently operate matrix, and is the best environment of operating matrix. Abstract:

In this article, the proposed method about risk analysis is conductively discussed; generalized trapezoidal fuzzy number and operational rules are defined and closeness models also discussed; in order to settle the matching between fuzzy languages and fuzzy numbers, the paper introduces a new closeness method ——integrated closeness model ,  which overcomes the disadvantages of the customary methods; then, the paper establishes a model of risk rating assessment, gives a detailed example of risk rating calculation, which provide scientific foundation for risk management and decision-making.

We deal with the constrained fuzzy arithmetic (CFA) introduced by Klir, comparing with the standard fuzzy arithmetic (SFA) by Zadeh. This paper generalizes the fuzzy operation (not just the arithmetic operation) with requisite equality constraint on the basis of Klir’s. We define a kind of fuzzy-valued functions represented by fuzzy structuring element, and give the calculus operation of these functions. Abstract:

In this paper, an adaptive fuzzy control system which includes a control loop and a learning loop is established, where the learning loop is closed through communication network. The main goal of this paper is to analyze network-induced delays’ influence on performance, and present a fuzzy-logic based solution to eliminate the influence and improve the final control performance.

Finally, we investigate a typical networked adaptive fuzzy control system as a case study, where we can analyze the performance of the compensation. And simulations are conducted to show the feasibility and effectiveness of the presented approach.

Abstract:

A method for identifying time-varying linear system with non-Gaussian input is addressed. The proposed approach is based on the application of higher-order spectra (HOS) and wavelet analysis. To solve the problem and identify the characteristics of the time-varying linear system, a time-varying parametric model is proposed as a transient non-Gaussian AR model. The model parameters that characterize the time-varying system are expressed as the functions of time and represented by a family of wavelet basis functions, having the invariant basis coefficients. The proposed method can well track the changes of the system’s characteristics. The experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Abstract:

On the basis of the definition of measure on fuzzy set , through the discussion of mean measure of random set, a proximity was defined of a unlimited field, that is measure proximity. A new method of calculating the proximity was provided, and the definitional form was fufiled.
